Lorahns was an astronomical object located in the regions known as the Mid Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] It was also situated within grid square P-14 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It shared its name with the gravitational sink nicknamed Lorahns Cavity by the locals of the planet Vandor.[3]
Behind the scenes[]
Lorahns was first depicted in the new Star Wars canon on a galactic map in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a 2016 boxed set for Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars Roleplaying products.[1] In the Star Wars Legends, the planet Lorahns was first mentioned in the "A Barve Like That: The Tale of Boba Fett," a 1995 short story authored by Daniel Keys Moran and published in the anthology book, Tales from Jabba's Palace.[4] It later made its first appearance via flashback in The Bounty Hunters: Aurra Sing, the first issue of Star Wars: The Bounty Hunters comic-book series, which was authored and illustrated by Timothy Truman and published by Dark Horse Comics[5] on August 11, 1999.[6]
