The Lore Seeker was a reddish-orange Jemlaat-class yacht owned by the Jedi historian Tionne Solusar. She acquired the ship sometime before 11 ABY from a Randoni trader on one of her frequent research trips to Borgo Prime, literally for the price of a song. Tionne often took young Jedi with her on these trips, using it as an opportunity for practical experience.
The yacht was an ancient style, deploying solar sails to harness solar wind and power the ship.

Behind the scenes

There is some confusion over when Tionne acquired this ship. In Firestorm, set 11 ABY, Tionne has a ship by this name. However, in the Junior Jedi Knights series, set in 22 ABY, she has only recently acquired the ship.
