An Alderaanian noble, Lady Loren was the consort of Prince Denid of Velmor.

Twenty years before the Battle of Yavin, Prince Denid and Lady Loren were forced to flee their native planet as the influence of the Galactic Empire established a permanent stronghold on the planet. Along with their trusted ally Jedidiah, they crash-landed onto the jungle world of Tantajoc V. Lady Loren was killed in the crash, and Prince Denid buried her in a special commemorative cairn on top of a mountain
Years later Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa, responding to a distress beacon coming from Tantajoc V, landed on the planet and discovered Denid and the addle-brained Jedidiah. Princess Leia donned a blonde wig and impersonated Lady Loren for the sake of helping Denid to confirm his identity and retake his rightful place as heir to Velmor.
