The Lormar-class Refinery Station was a KDY-designed space station meant to function as an outpost for deep-space metal and mineral ore refining.

The station was equipped with a hyperdrive and could be moved from system to system. It could accommodate for up to 1 million metric tons of ore, both raw and refined when working at its highest capacity.
Stations of this kind served their purpose best in situations where building planetside facilities was considered too costly. A Lormar-class station could simply be moved into a system in relatively short time.
