The Lortan Fanatics were a group of warlike beings from the planet of Lortan. They embarked on a crusade against the Tunroth, nearly exterminating that species until saved by the intervention of the Galactic Empire in 6 BBY. As a result the Lortan Fanatics were exterminated in turn; Soontir Fel, as part of the 37th Imperial Fighter Wing, battled against their remnants.
