The Lost City of Aurum was a settlement that was established on Tython during the Pre-Republic era. It was created after the Tythan colonists settled on the planet. During this time, the Je'daii Order bore offspring that were not Force-sensitive where some settled in the city of Aurum. However, these Tythans were unable to protect themselves from the dangers of their world and the city was destroyed as a result.

It was due to the events that led to the destruction of Aurum that saw many Tythans depart the planet in the Second Migration where they colonized the other worlds in the Tython system.
