Lourdes was the near-Human princess of an unknown, fairly low-tech planetoid.

Lourdes was trained in swordsmanship by her father who was "the best swordman in the system", and she also seemed proficient in blasters. One of her assistants was an alien named Skeeter.[2]
In 31 BBY,[1] her homeworld was captured by the Yahk-Tosh Lord Gar-Oth and his droid armies. Gar-Oth sought to marry her in a move to bring the population in line. However, on the day of the wedding, newly knighted Jedi Yoshi Raph-Elan crash-landed on the planet. He accidentally found his way to the princess's chamber and agreed to help her stop Gar-Oth.[2]
After a bumbling attempt to stop the wedding by Raph-Elan, Gar-Oth brought his Goliath battle droid. While Raph-Elan was busy trying to destroy the droid, the princess killed Gar-Oth. After this, his droid armies retreated from the planetoid. The princess realized that she had fulfilled an ancient prophecy and she was the "Foreseen" her people had been waiting for.[2]

Lourdes appears to be of the same species as Fay and Aleco Stusea. All these individuals appear to be Human, but with pointed ears. Leland Chee, on the Star Wars Message Boards, stated that his theory is that "all pointy-eared species are either Sephi or closely related to Sephi."[3]
The character of Princess Lourdes seems loosely based on Princess Zelda from The Legend of Zelda series. Her homeworld and the storyline she is presented in also seems to have a lot in common with the popular videogame series.
