In 40 ABY, Dark Lady of the Sith Lumiya carried a vibroblade in her boot. While entertaining the Twi'lek Dark Jedi Alema Rar at her asteroid home, Lumiya produced the vibroblade and rammed it into her own leg. To Rar's astonishment, the blade had absolutely no effect on the Dark Lady, as all of her limbs were prosthetic.^[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Lumiya's vibroblade appears in Karen Traviss' novel Sacrifice, published in May of 2007 and fifth in the nine part Legacy of the Force series. It is the only time in Lumiya's history that she is shown in possession of a vibroblade. Traviss expressed fascination with her depiction of Lumiya and Alema Rar's interaction in Sacrifice, giving special attention to their differed perspectives on their various mutilations.^[2]
