When he, Tee-ubo Doole, Bendodi Ballow-Reese, and Jerem Cadmir were sent to investigate an incoming storm, they soon found themselves in the midst of extremely noxious fumes, which, unbeknownst to them, were being sprayed by dweebits, planted there by the Yuuzhan Vong Yomin Carr. When Ballow-Reese gave his oxygen pack to Jerem Cadmir and ran behind a bush to die, Luther tried to convince him otherwise, only to get a blaster bolt in the chest from Ballow-Reese, who shot himself soon after.
