Lwyll was a woman living on Nar Shaddaa prior to the Galactic Civil War and was in love with the smuggler Roa. Roa proposed marriage numerous times and was continually rejected unless he retire from smuggling. Finally, Roa decided to retire and Lwyll agreed to marry him - even though everyone in the Corellian Sector of Nar Shaddaa knew they were in love. However, Roa answered the call to arms during the Battle of Nar Shaddaa, in which he flew a ship called the Lwyll, named in her honor. Following the battle, Roa and Lwyll traveled to the Corporate Sector.
When the Yuuzhan Vong invaded the galaxy, Lwyll was killed on the planet Atzerri, and Roa joined trillions fighting the war to avenge lost loved ones.
