Lynnori was a near-human female who was the Captain and owner of the Starbound Misfit, a modified YT-1930 transport purchased for her by Talandro Starlyte and modified by his friend, Scizzic. Starlyte asked her to leave the life of an independent captain and stay with him on Starlyte Station, but she politely refused. Unlike most near-humans, Lynnori's species was unusual in that it barely resembled base human stock. Her features were feline, with pointed ears, slitted eyes, a long prehensile tail, clawed hands, and a down covering of striped fur.

Lynnori's species is given as 'near-human' however she physically resembles the female Farghuls Breela and Mika.
