The M-12 was an Imperial-class sweep bomb used for heavy demolition and leveling for the Galactic Empire or, in some cases, their manufacturer's director, Kuat of Kuat. The high pressure explosive originally using a removable atmospheric phase-change detonator to explode and the failure rate of nearly ten percent caused the line to be discontinued, forcing the Imperial Navy to update to a more reliable integrated gravity-wave system inside the bomb itself.
