Characteristics
Edit
The shuttle possessed a smooth, curved design, typical for Mon Calamari starships. Shuttles of this kind were armed and were equipped with miniaturized back-up shield generators.[1]
History
Edit

The MC-24a shuttles were primarily meant to be used by personnel at the Mon Calamari Shipyards to travel between areas among the construction bays. Other worlds plagued with harsh atmospheric conditions or low-orbit debris bought MC-24a shuttles based on their good handling in those conditions.[1]
During the crackdown on Calamari resistance after the Battle of Mon Calamari in 137 ABY, MC-24a's were used to ferry resistance members between safe houses.[1]
