The MDS-440 datapad was a model of gray-colored datapad used by personnel of the Resistance fleet during their war against the First Order. One such datapad used on the bridge of the MC85 Star Cruiser Raddus displayed a data-feed of the starship's battle analysis computer.[1]

Behind the scenes

A MDS-440 datapad first appeared in the film Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi,[2] which was released on December 15, 2017.[3] The prop was not named in the film,[2] but received identification in Star Wars: The Last Jedi: The Visual Dictionary, a reference book written by Pablo Hidalgo[1] and released in conjunction with the film.[4]
