Maashan was a Kamarian Badlander from Varn and a Rebel Alliance member.
Maashan was born on Varn, but left the planet before 10 BBY, and thus was not affected by some social and cultural changes there.
A pyrotechnician, Maashan joined the Galactic Outdoor Survival School and became a member of the prestigious Twilight Class, which graduated around 10 BBY. Afterward, Maashan and most of his classmates joined the Rebel Alliance.
Maashan died during an alien attack to the Rebel safeworld Stronghold.
