Machineville was an area of the Lower City on Taris that was set aside for use by droids in order to repair and recharge themselves. It was located next to the Lhosan Industries plant. Machineville also acted as a buffer between the Lower City and the numerous refugee camps that had been set up as a result of the Mandalorian Wars. Zayne Carrick fled here after the Padawan Massacre of Taris to hide from authorities. During the Siege of Taris, Machineville came under heavy attack by Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders.
