Macrobinoculars were a small, handheld device that could allow a user to view distant objects from afar. They could make objects appear closer and even look into space, as Biggs Darklighter did after Luke Skywalker claimed he had seen a battle over Tatooine.[1] Contrary to monoculars and telescopes, macrobinoculars produced three-dimensional images.[2]
