Magister Protector was a rank used in the Crucible, a slaver organization active prior to and during the Mandalorian Wars. Holders of this rank concerned themselves in dealing with threats to the organization. At the time of 3,963 BBY, Bar'injar held the rank, which was reflected in his name.
