Magnus was the title held by the political and military leader of the O'reenian species and the planet O'reen. The title was named for an individual with the surname Magnus who was the first military ruler of the planet.^[1] The Magnus was elected by a council of peers. The individual always traveled with an armed guard.^[2] The ruler had an estate at the heart of the capital city, Fort Maximus.^[1]
