- "Maintenance droids are such useful things to have around."
- ―Talon Karrde
Maintenance droids, also known as repair droids, were droids that performed simple to complex cleaning, repair, and general maintenance tasks. A pit droid was a type of repair droid that maintained podracer vehicles.[1] The T3-series utility droid, BLX labor droid, WED Treadwell repair droid, the MSE-series droid, and astromech droids such as the R-series were used as repair droids.[2]
