Behind the scenes
Makem Te was first mentioned in the novelization of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, which was written by Terry Brooks and released in 1999. The world was then depicted for the first time in canon in the The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a roleplaying game released by Fantasy Flight Games on August 4, 2016.
