The Malachor system was a star system located within the Chorlian sector in the Outer Rim region of the galaxy which contained the planet Malachor V. For some reason, the system was considered taboo by the Mandalorians at the time. The system was also noted for one of it's peculiar oddities, though it was known to only have one planet, the system was filled with mass shadows, more than what could be attributed to one planet, though Malachor V's gravity in particular was also immensely strong.
