During the Great Galactic War, around 3,664 BBY, a group of Mandalorians allied with the Sith Empire attacked an envoy of the Galactic Republic. Led by the Human Shae Vizla, the warriors engaged the envoy and its defenders, but were confronted by Jedi Master Aurei Eadon. Eadon succeeded in killing Vizla's brother—an act that earned him and the entirety of the Jedi Order the Mandalorian's ire. Although Shae later challenged Master Eadon to a duel to avenge her fallen brother, the Jedi refused.
