Mantooine was a planet in the Atrivis sector, on the Relgim Run. Despite their xenophobia, the natives were sympathetic to the Rebel Alliance.

HistoryEdit

Mantooine, along with Sestooine in the northern quadrant, was colonized during the onset of the Kymoodon Era.^[1]

Mantooine was constantly at war with Fest. For this reason, the people of Fest did not warn Mantooine it was going to be attacked by the Empire. Ultimately, however, the two planets found common cause in their conflict with the Empire, and the combination of the Mantooine Liberators with the Fest Resistance Group formed the Atrivis Resistance Group. The New Republic later named a ship after the world.

The Mantooine Minuet was presumably from the world, as was Brandei.
