The Marauder Starjacker was one of the two ore-raiding ships - the other being Stenness Raider -used by the pirate captain Finhead Stonebone in 4,000 BBY to raid Ithullan Ore Haulers.
It was a modified Byblos Drive Yards E-2 asteroid mining vehicle. The Marauder Starjacker was insectoid in appearance and approximately one hundred meters long. It also had rugged claws for digging through an asteroid and attaching to an asteroid. After Captain Stonebone stole the Marauder Starjacker and the Stenness Raider, he had them modified for ore raiding. Plasma drills were fitted on the front of the vehicles and the prismatic drill crystals were modified to give a longer range. These drills were powerful enough to cut through the hard carapace of the Ithullan Ore Haulers.
When attacking the ore haulers, Finhead's tactic was to cut through the target's hull and expose the cargo holds to space. This would create a vacuum that would carry the ore modules into the vehicle's cargo bay. Later during a raid on Ithullian Ore Haulers belonging to Bogga the Hutt, the Marauder Starjacker and the Stenness Raider were both captured by his enforcer Captain Norufu's starship Enforcer One and the crew were pressed into Bogga's service. Later both ships went to Ambria where Finhead's pirates and Bogga's enforcers attempted to capture Jedi Master Thon.
