Marfen was a Brubb weapons officer who served Booster Terrik on his Star Destroyer, the Errant Venture, in 44 ABY. When Terrik hosted the Tendrando Arms Celebrity Sabacc Charity Challenge, housing one hundred important politicians, Marfen controlled the firing of the Errant Venture's weapons on their Orbital Mirror targets. The firing on Galactic Alliance property drew the attention of the Galactic Alliance Sixth Fleet—allowing the Jedi to safely launch their StealthX wing to help Luke and Ben Skywalker fight the Lost Tribe of Sith without being attacked by the Alliance—but the fleet could not retaliate with so many important politicians on board.
