Characteristics

Quadrupedal in form, this battle droid was armed for melee combat, featuring two bludgeoning armatures that could deliver brutal blunt-force trauma to unarmored or unprepared opponents. These droids were sometimes outfitted with body-mounted energy deflector shields.
HistoryEdit
It was used by the Galactic Republic and later the Sith Empire prior to and during the Mandalorian Wars and Jedi Civil War. These droids also sometimes fell into the hands of swoop gangs, such as the Hidden Beks and Black Vulkars of Taris.
Behind the scenesEdit
The Assault droid Mark I is at one point in Knights of the Old Republic mistakenly referred to as the Mark II, but it should not be confused with this model.
