Martz was a captain in the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars. He commanded the Acclamator I-class assault ship Prosecutor, which was commandeered by Trandoshan mercenaries roughly one year into the war. He was presumed dead, most likely killed by the Trandoshan forces.
