The Massassi battle staff was a melee weapon once used by the ancient Massassi warrior race. The staff was the symbol of a proven warrior. It could be shortened with the press of a button, making it more convenient to carry.

The Massassi battle staff was intended to appear in the video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic but it was removed from the final version of the game. As the weapon was still present in the game files, it could be obtained using cheat codes.
