Mata Fhernan was a Human female who lived during the Clone Wars, and mother to Bant'ena Fhernan. Mata was rescued by Taria Damsin and Ahsoka Tano from an Anzati assassin, who was hired by Lok Durd to watch Mata and kill her if Bant'ena refused to make a Bioweapon for him.
