Matthew Sloan, along with his friend Aaron Yonda, is the creator of "Chad Vader" to whom he also provides the voice. After "Chad" became famous, Sloan has been hired to participate in official products.

He portrayed Darth Vader in the 2006 video game Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. Later, Sloan reprised his role as Vader in the 2008 video games Soulcalibur IV and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and in the 2010 Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.
He also reprised his Chad Vader voice in character for the RiffTrax commentary of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
Additionally, Matt Sloan appeared as Vader in a Star Wars-themed episode of Deal or No Deal.
