Matthew Sloan (born March 24, 1973), along with his friend Aaron Yonda, is the creator of the "Chad Vader: Day Shift Manager" web series, where he also provided the voice of the title character. After the success of the series, Sloan was hired to voice Darth Vader in multiple official products.

He also played Vader in the 2011 fan film Hughes the Force, and reprised his Chad Vader voice in character for the RiffTrax commentary of Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. Additionally, Sloan appeared as Vader in a Star Wars–themed episode of Deal or No Deal.
