Maulkiller was a male hybrid clone created on the planet Kamino by Darth Vader, the Dark Lord of the Sith. Maulkiller was created by combining genetic material from the Zabrak Sith apprentice Darth Maul and the Human Galen Marek. The resulting individual had gold eyes and his skin was silver with black tattoos. Disparate differences between the two samples caused physical and mental instabilities that led to the clone's destruction not too long after its creation. Maulkiller struck fear into all who faced him, including Darth Vader himself.[1]
Behind the scenes
Edit
Maulkiller appeared in 2010 as a bonus preorder avatar for players of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. The article The Good, the Bad, and the Gorog in Star Wars Insider 121 revealed that Maulkiller came about when team members on the project were brainstorming ideas for combat wardrobes. Maulkiller was inspired by Darth Maul.
