While on vacation with her family, she contracted a rare disease and passed away.^[1] Veers was devastated by her loss and dedicated his life to the Imperial Army while raising Zevulon to honor his mother's memory by becoming a loyal Imperial youth.^[2] Zevulon began to grow apart from his father over the years and missed the warmth of his mother's smile.^[1]
