The Mechanized Assault Flyer (MAF) was a piloted, multi-purpose gunship used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.

The Mechanized Assault Flyer was used for several purposes, including close-range bombardment and aerial reconnaissance.[1] It was equipped with two beam cannons and a rear swiveling laser cannon that spun around the large disc-like posterior of the ship,[1] as well as two more laser cannons in side-pods.[2] The MAF had one pilot, a co-pilot, and a gunner for the turret. It was 18.2 meters long and could reach speeds of up to 820 kilometers per hour.[1]

The MAF was produced by Haor Chall Engineering, while its similarly-shaped replacement,[1] the Heavy Missile Platform, was built by Baktoid Fleet Ordnance.[3] The MAF was used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems.[2]
