Mechu-deru

Mechu-deru was a Force based skill of the mechanized area. Part of mechu-deru related to the ancient Sith Alchemy which infused mechanical objects with the energy of the dark side of the Force. Arca Jeth used a version of it.
Belia Darzu used the skill to create and control an army of Technobeasts, in a process called Mechu-deru vitae. Darth Maul used the skill to modify the protocol droid C-3PX into an assassin droid and create his Dark Eye probe droid. Irek Ismaren used the same ability to control the Eye of Palpatine.

The name "mechu-deru" was created for The Essential Guide to Episode I, but after its cancellation, was used in The Emperor's Pawns.
