Megiddo was the third planet of the Endor system. It was a barren rock with no moons.

Behind the scenesEdit

The planet may have been named for Har Megiddo (Mountain of Megiddo) near the Jezreal Valley in Israel. Har Megiddo, as well as having been the site of a number of historical battles, is described as being the future site of the final battle between the forces of good and evil in the New Testament's book of Revelations, where the name is transliterated into Greek as "Armageddon".
