The mercenary barracks served as barracks used by the favored Zann Consortium troop breeds: the Mercenary Assault Squad and Grenadiers. Sometimes Consortium Officers would train vornskrs there, and the barracks have served as the base for Ewok Handlers. The barracks were always protected by deflector shield generators.
