Merf was a Vorzydiak Freelie on Vorzyd V. In 1 ABY, he was in charge of the surveillance and security system of the Freelies' secret hideout. He also participated in the kidnapping of Leia Organa and a skrimish between Freelies and Blackhole troopers.
