Merte was a Hurrim Lambda-class T-4a shuttle. It was hijacked by two members of Dunari's smuggler coalition. The Merte fled into a civilian spaceport called Camen Spaceport, where it met up with two Rebel RZ-1 A-wing interceptors from the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Liberty, one of them being flown by Ace Azzameen. The Rebels defended their allies from a Hurrim pursuit team and managed to escort them back to the Liberty after evading several traps.
