Mesh armor was a more advanced form of fiber armor produced by military contractors across the galaxy. It used the engineering principles of fiber armor, enhancing them with high-quality materials and extensive research. Mesh armor was heavier and more cumbersome than fiber armor and conferred many of the same benefits of fiber armor and traditional suits of armor. Examples of such armor include GenoHaradan mesh armor and Verpine Fiber Mesh.
