Methane

Methane was a gas that could be found in many atmospheres of planets in the galaxy, and sometimes in solid ice form or even liquid lakes and oceans. It could even be found on asteroids, as was detected in some in the Kashyyyk system.^[1]

Notable planets with methane included Skako, Esfandia, Farstine, Morseer, Zaur, and Rue, as well as coating asteroids in the Crispin asteroid field.

It was used for many purposes, such as powering boats on Chadra. Drackmarian and Morseerian were both methane breathing species.
