Michael Stern is an author who wrote many of the Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game supplements for West End Games. He is also credited along with Douglas Kaufman and Greg Gorden in developing the offical Sabacc rules that were included in West End Game's Crisis on Cloud City supplement.
