Micro-pulse blasters were an ancient form of blaster weapons used during the time of the Great Sith War. The weapon worked by firing short controlled bursts of coherent energy rather then a fully powered energy blast. The weapons were usually created from Thoranium, allowing them to release more powerful discharges than standard blasters.
