Mike Jackson

Mike Jackson is a Canadian artist, game developer and independent film-maker. He contributed artwork to numerous Star Wars game suppliments published by West End Games in the '90s, most notably the image showing an Ewok on the boarding ladder of an X-wing which appeared in the Star Wars Gamemaster Handbook, Second Edition in 1993 and may have inspired the 'mythical' character of Kettch used in Aaron Allston's series of 'X-Wing' novels.

Jackson's artwork was noted for its clean lines and sense of realism in addition to the research he put into the composition and the technology depicted in each drawing.

Currently Mike is devoted to solely working in film. One of his early works, the short Dial 'A' for Alphaman was picked up for airing on the Sci-fi Network in 2003.

Mike Jackson is not to be confused with the miscellaneous crewmember of the same name who worked on Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, but he did like seeing his name in the closing credits.
