This article is about the Beta-class escort transport. You may be looking for the weapon system used for laying mines or the type of spaceship referred to as a minelayer.

Minelayer was an Imperial Beta-class ETR-3 escort transport equipped with one or more minelayers. It was tasked with laying a mine field around Comm Center, and was presumably destroyed by either the Rebel Alliance pilots who attacked that station or the Azzameen family, who hacked into the base's systems.
