The Miners Alliance was a union of various space mining guilds for the joint acquisition of space resources.

Traders of the Miners Alliance could often be found on mining stations and space stations owned by corporations like the Trade Federation or law enforcement organizations like CorSec and the Royal Security Forces. They often bought asteroid resources from small independent miners.

With the addition of space mining in Rage of the Wookiees, the second expansion of Star Wars Galaxies, several stations were added that gave players the option to sell their mined asteroid resources.
