- "I—and those for whom I speak—believe that this war represents a failure to listen… We need to stop the fighting and let diplomacy resume."
- ―Mira[src]
Mira was a near-Human female Jedi Knight during the Clone Wars.
[edit] Biography
Mira was a former Padawan to Sora Bulq, who unlike her master, was not a particularly skilled lightsaber combatant. She was chosen as a representative of many Jedi who objected to serving as officers in the Clone Wars, and as such was invited to Ruul for a conference with Sora Bulq and Mace Windu.
While there, she witnessed her master being ambushed by the Dark Jedi Asajj Ventress. Unaware that it was a deception, as Bulq had recently turned to the dark side, she involved herself in the duel and perished.
Sora Bulq took her corpse back to his estate and mourned over her dead body, but was confronted by Mace Windu, who had figured out that Bulq had allowed Ventress onto Ruul to frame Windu for murder.
[edit] Behind the scenes
Mira's quote: "This war represents a failure to listen" is the same, word for word, as Padmé Amidala's statement in Revenge of the Sith.
Mira could possibly be Theelin; she has pale skin and facial markings characteristic to some of the species.
