"Nice work, Jaden. Some rescue mission..."
Jaden Korr to himself[src]

The Mission to Blenjeel took place in 14 ABY. After a merchant vessel crashed on Blenjeel, Jedi apprentice Jaden Korr was sent to rescue its crew. However, due to atmospheric lightning, he too crash-landed on the planet, his ship severely damaged. Just as Korr left his spaceship to investigate the environment, he witnessed the last surviving merchant getting devoured by an enormous sandworm.

Korr decided to scavenge the wreck of the crashed merchant vessel to see if he could retrieve any parts that he could use to repair his own ship with. Korr was able to avoid the native sandworms for long enough to find the parts necessary to repair his ship. These parts were a power converter, an energy cell for the cooling unit, a power coupling for the acceleration compensator and a damper.

The sandworms instinctively attacked any source of vibrations in the sand. Korr may have killed some of the worms by tricking them into eating thermal detonators by simply throwing a detonator in the sand. This would produce enough vibrations in the sand for the sandworm to mistake it for an organic entity and swallow it.

Korr managed to repair the ship and depart from the planet. Shortly after this, it was listed in Galactic databases as a dangerous planet to be avoided.
