Mochot Steep was a popular Jawa trading site on the planet Tatooine.

Tusken Raiders eventually took over, and the Mochot Steep remained under their control for many years. It was not until later that a large gang of troublemakers attempted to wrest control of the Steep back from the Tuskens, resulting in a turf war that lasted for quite some time and had a negative impact on the surrounding cities.^[1]
