The Model RLW-77 was a wrist-mounted laser weapon that caused damage in very short range. It was thought to be used while grappling a foe, as conventional blasters were useless. These wrist lasers recharged using solar power. The chamber could be overload on purpose, transforming the wrist laser into a bomb.
The weapon was developed by Koromondain PDS, Incorporated. During the Galactic Civil War, these wrist lasers were used by professional bounty hunters, and in some circles they were considered the mark of distinction of a real professional.
